The RRB JE Notification 2024 includes a total of 7951 vacancies. Out of these, 17 vacancies are exclusively for the RRB Gorakhpur region for the posts of Chemical Supervisor (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research).

Age Limit
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced an age relaxation for candidates applying for the RRB JE Notification 2024. This is a significant opportunity for candidates who missed previous chances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The age relaxation of 3 years is provided beyond the prescribed upper age limit for this recruitment cycle. The details are as follows:
Normal Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025):
- Chemical Supervisor / Research and Metallurgical Supervisor / Research: 18 to 33 years
- Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant: 18 to 33 years
Age Limit with Relaxation for CEN 2024 (as of 01.01.2025):
- Chemical Supervisor / Research and Metallurgical Supervisor / Research: 18 to 36 years
- Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant: 18 to 36 years
